Hello everyone! So I'm still here and still working on getting things moved around. It shouldn't surprise me that this is taking a lot more time and effort than I thought. You may also notice that the podcasts are no longer available. I am completely aware of that and it and was an unfortunately oversight on my part. I'm working on getting everything back together and up and running soon. I also think I will be "changing" the format slightly. We'll see how it goes.

I'm Still Here and Will Be Coming Back Soon...
Hello everyone. I do apologize for the extended break but, if you have been paying attention you may have an idea why. My wife had a baby about three weeks ago and I have just begun to unbury myself from the diapers and burp cloths. Meet Annie:
Anyway, she has been keeping me pretty busy. To add to the confusion, I have decided to make some changes to my regular website, email, and such so I'll be migrating all that soon as well. Everything "should" stay the same in regards to the web address and email address but I will let you know if that changes. In the meantime you can always reach me at theslackjaw@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments. Thank you again for sticking around and I look forward to getting the puppy moving again....once I find my way out of this pile of dirty baby clothes....

The Slack Jaw Voice Over - Episode 21 - Behind the Scenes Part II
Hello again! We actually have a podcast coming out on the day it should be coming out! (We'll just forget that it should have been out last Monday...so just remember....forget that....)
Anyway, it's part two on how I put this thing together. If you are not interested in podcasting or how I put this one together, then just take this message away: PROMOTE! PROMOTE!! PROMOTE!!!
It doesn't matter if you are doing a podcast, project, cartoon, audiobook, whatever. Promote the BAJEEBUS out of that thing. (Do keep in mind any non-disclosure agreements you may be under though.) But outside of that, scream it from the rooftops that you are working. Not only is it a way to get people to look at what you are doing, but it also helps to have these things as a part of your resume so when you are ready to get an agent, they can see that you have been working your tail off and have been getting work. They won't take you on if they don't think you are bankable.
If you are interested in how the podcast is put together, then check out the podcast. But either way, when you get work or you are just doing some project on the side, make sure people know about it!

The Slack Jaw Voice Over - Episode 20 - Behind the Scenes Part I
Hello! Sorry for the delay in the episode. The schedule is going to be a bit wonky for a few weeks while some "changes" are happening but I hope to have everything on a steady schedule in a month or so. Until then, we are going to be bit off from time to time.
Today's episode is the first of a two part series about how I do this very podcast. I figured, this is one big way I practice every week (among other things) and if podcasting was something you were interested in, then here is one way you can do it.
Part I is mostly about the format, why it changed, and why it can be beneficial to do a podcast. Next week we are going to talk about the nitty gritty details on how it gets on the web and into your ear holes. (NOTE: It is not a requirement to do a podcast to get into voice acting. It's just a fun way to practice. AND, you aren't fenced into one particular topic or idea. I just happen to do mine on voice acting. You may want to do yours on cactuses. Cacti? Whatever.)

Hello everyone. Sorry for going radio silent there for a few days. There will be no podcast this week as I have been absolutely insanely busy. Which is a good thing. I actually just finished my first Audible Audiobook the other day and I'm waiting to get notes on it. That was a bit of a project to say the least. Putting together an audiobook is a big job no matter how you slice it and when you are doing it on your own, it takes up a lot of time. I think I may do an episode about how I put it together but that will come later.
